Undoubtedly the finest instrument ever made, the EMPEROR is custom built and pre-tested before final finishing assuring each artist of the uniform quality for which EPIPHONE is world famous.
The finest materials in the world such as individually selected spruce and curly maple and skilled craftsmen combine to make the EMPEROR the masterpiece it is. The workmanship in construction and finish is the result of over fifty years’ experience in building the best, and striving for perfection.
The tone produced by the EMPEROR is in a class by itself and is characterised by a fullness and richness not obtainable in other instruments. Exacting workmanship and careful design account for its easy playing qualities and ultra-responsiveness.
The EMPEROR is the largest guitar ever made, the body measuring 18 ½” in width and 21 ¾” in length, scientifically proportioned for extra ease in playing.
Finished in a beautiful natural finish, highlighted, hand rubbed to a very high polish. Framed in entirety by alternate white, black and white edging. The FREQUENSATOR frequency compensating tailpiece and all metal parts and heavily gold-plated and hand burnished.
Equipped with Epiphone enclosed tuning units.
The EMPEROR Natural has a pleasing hand rubbed finish in which the beautiful grain of the especially selected wood is the decorative motif. It is compared to a sculpture in marble wherein the natural colour of the material is admired as much as the masterpiece.
